Lliw — "colour. Every mind a different shade. Every shade welcome."
Lliw does not represent a sector. Lliw represents every citizen of Cylfaa who sees the world differently — who thinks in pictures, or patterns, or feelings, or frequencies that others cannot hear. Lliw does not sit on the council as a vote. Lliw sits beside every owl, ensuring every voice in the chamber can be heard. This is Lliw's garden — Gardd Lliw — the most colourful place in Cylfaa. Every flower a different shade. Every path a different texture underfoot. Its paths touch every home in the village, because in Cylfaa, inclusion, neurodiversity and green skills are not add-ons. They are the ground everyone walks on. The door is always open. No petition is needed.
"Cylfaa belongs to everyone. Lliw makes sure of it."
Every owl.wales sector pack — construction, energy, manufacturing, digital, agriculture, nuclear, enterprise — is built with Lliw in the room. That means three things are woven through every session before it ever reaches a classroom: inclusion, neurodiverse-friendly design, and green skills. Not a separate module. Not an optional extra. Built in.
Some students find a loud classroom, a wall of text or a fast-talking visitor overwhelming. In Cylfaa, those students come to the garden first — and the garden was designed so that every sense is considered. The packs your school receives are designed the same way.
You don't know in advance who is in the room — mixed abilities, mixed backgrounds, every shade of mind. Lliw makes sure you never have to guess. It's part of what makes an owl.wales pack different from a pull-up banner and a generic slide deck.
Byd — Welsh for "world" — is what the students of Cylfaa call each sector. Whichever world a young person steps into, Gardd Lliw is already there: inclusion, neurodiverse-friendly design and green skills, built into every pack. Visit the homes of the owls.
